Five objects made of white fabric at first sight look different than their names. Their names do not correspond to their shapes. Our eyes, view, our projection and knowledge are lying to us. The original clothes dried in the silhouette of other clothing. And instead of the soft, pliable textile, they are solid, changed objects. They keep their own shape but it is not possible to wear them anymore; they have changed into objects. The white colour simplifies object into shape, on the elementary colour – non colour. It is about transformation from wearable clothes to non-functional objects, about loss of a meaning. The second transformation is of the shape, not by cutting or sewing but by easy crumpling, mechanical pressing, folding, bending and drying.

 

Päť objektov z bielej látky už na prvý pohľad vyzerá inak ako ich názvy. Mená nezodpovedajú tvarom. Klamú nás oči, náš pohľad, naše predstavy a vedomosti. Veci zaschli vo forme iného odevu. A miesto mäkkého, poddajného textilu, sú to tvrdé, premenené objekty. Majú svoj tvar, ale nie je možné si ich viac obliecť, sú iba nenositeľným objektom. Biela farba zjednodušuje objekt na tvar, na základnú farbu – nefarbu. Ide o premenu nositeľného odevu na objekt, znefunkčnenie, stratu významu, premenu na zbytočnosť, nezmyselnú vec. Druhou je transformácia tvaru z jedného odevu na iný, nie prešitím, strihaním, ale jednoduchým pokrčením, mechanickým stlačením, preložením, ohnutím a zaschnutím.
