In the collection PLACES are several different objects which are modelled in the shape of interior spaces, the house, and silhouettes of the countryside. I develop my ideas about a space, how and what we see (when we move, when we stop and take time to enjoy the view). In the objects I express real places combined with my memory of them, their atmosphere, and the feelings which I felt when I was there.

Objects are installed on wooden cubes – which represent layers (of memories), a base, or earth. These lie on subtle metal stands, welded of thin rod. Since they are interiors, houses and exteriors, they are modelled in different scales, adjusted to have similar measurements.

Interiors have simple shapes inspired by architecture, flooring, and walls. Their inner space is filled with smaller objects which symbolize interior plan, furniture and other things. From outside they look like abstract objects, undefinable, because the outer walls are finished with ceramic ribs, kind of a sign of non-existant, possible construction.

The object of the house is installed in this way, so everyone can look inside. But what can we see inside are just the ribs. Our imagination is freed. We can have a perspective which is never offered; to see the whole space, the whole image.

The last and largest part of the collection includes objects of landscapes: various exteriors that I have visited in recent years. They show views of the mountains, hills, water, sea and their combinations. From inside they become a kind of architecture, possible interiors, because of the ribs, which signify construction which holds the entire landscape-memory together and connects the collection as a whole.

What I am interested in is also the perceptiveness of the viewer. I offer him/her different views, encourage him/her to look at the sculpture from different angles, from above and from below as well.

This collection of sixteen pieces links in various ways interior with exterior, architecture and nature, two items, and opposites, which freely dissolve, exchange and replace. All of the objects are made of Polish chamotte, fired and painted. The material, clay, is in its essence very close to our being and with its fragility, even after firing, refers to the delicacy of the idea of a specific place, the home, and our memories.

Kolekcia MIESTA zahŕňa rôzne modelované objekty v tvare interiéru, domu alebo výrezu z krajiny. Premýšľam o priestore, ako a čo vidíme ((keď sa pohybujeme, keď sa zastavíme a máme čas pokochať sa výhľadom). Objekty zobrazujú reálne miesta, ale je v nich obsiahnutá spomienka, atmosféra a pocit, ktorý vyvolali.

Objekty sú nainštalované na drevenom podklade, lepenej preglejke, ktorá zobrazuje vrstvy (pamäte), základu, zemských vrstiev.  Tieto ležia na kovovej subtílnej zváranej konštrukcii. Keďže sa jedná o kolekciu, interiérov, domu a krajín, sú modelované v rôznych mierkach, aby vo výsledku mali podobný rozmer.

Interiéry majú jednoduchý tvar inšpirovaný v architektúre, jednu podlahu a steny. Vnútorný priestor je vyplnený menšími objektmi, ktoré sú inšpirované v pôdoryse, nábytku a ďalších objektoch. Zvonku pôsobia abstraktne, nedefinovane, pretože vonkajšie steny sú domodelované keramickými rebrami, akoby pripomienkou neexistujúcej, nepotrebnej konštrukcie.

Objekt domu je nainštalovaný tak, aby sa dalo pozrieť dnu. Ale čo môžeme vidieť, sú len rebrá. Naša predstavivosť má voľné pole. Môžeme zhliadnuť to, čo sa normálne nedá vidieť, celok, celý obraz (vnútra).

Posledná a najväčšia časť kolekcie sú krajiny, rôzne objekty exteriérov, ktoré som navštívila v posledných rokoch. Ukazujú pohľady na hory, kopce, vodu, more a ich kombinácie. Zvnútra/zdola sa stali akoby architektúrou kvôli rebrám, ktoré predstavujú konštrukciu, ktorá drží celú krajinu-spomienku pokope a prepája celú kolekciu.

Čo ma na soche fascinuje, je aj vnímanie objektov divákom. Ponúkam mu/jej rôzne pohľady, podporujem ho/ju v náhľade na sochu z rôznych uhlov, zhora a aj zdola.

Kolekcia sa skladá zo šestnástich kusov. Prepája v sebe interiér s exteriérom, architektúru a krajinu, dva prvky, protiklady, ktoré sa v jednotlivých objektoch voľne prelínajú, prestupujú i zamieňajú. Všetky objekty sú modelované z poľského šamotu, vypálené a kolorované. Materiál, hlina, zem je nám svojou podstatou blízka a svojou krehkosťou, i po vypálení, odkazuje na krehkosť idey špecifického miesta, domova a našej pamäte.
